Houston is experiencing its longest period of heat advisories all Summer. Since last Saturday Houston's high temperatures have been in the upper 90s to 100 degrees. The Southerly gulf breezes will add additional moisture to all ready hot environment prompting a whole weekend of readings that feel like 105 to 110 degrees.
A large dome of high pressure aloft will continue to press in from the West this weekend. As the high squeezes the atmosphere the temperatures are expected to top out at near 100 degrees yet again until Monday.
