The latest microcast run shows most of the measurable rain will fall North of interstate ten Friday evening with the front getting through town by Saturday morning. As the trough lifts North, the front stalls in the gulf allowing an few showers to return with the aid of an upper level disturbance Sunday.

The Shell Houston Open continues play Friday with a few showers possible for afternoon Tee times. The best chances for rain this holiday weekend are Friday afternoon.

The front weakens Saturday and so do the the winds for boaters which will be at small craft advisory status through Friday evening.

Highs will approach 80 degrees for much of the southeast Texas region for most of the Easter weekend so the weather should cooperate with your outdoors plans.
