The NWS has placed southeast Texas under a 'Red Flag Warning' today because of strong winds and expected very low relative humidity values later today. It's all in the wake of a cold front that will push through downtown around 11:am and off the coast by 2:pm.
Unfortunately, rain chances will be limited and we will not be getting rain that we so badly need. Straight up, just don't burn anything out doors today as the smallest fire can quickly spread to out of control on a day like this.
