We hit 100F at Bush Airport on Sunday and we'll flirt with highs in the upper 90's to near 100 again today. Heat advisory is in effect to day so expect the heat index to top out between 105 and 110.
The remnant circulation of what was Tropical Depression #5 have re-entered the Gulf of Mexico. That area of low pressure may drift toward Louisiana by mid week, giving Houston a better chance for some cooling rain by Wednesday.
