Nice cool weather overnight will lead to a great start to the Halloween evening. The only change will likely be some additional humidity in the region Sunday night. Patchy ground fog or low clouds will roll in first thing Monday morning with a few showers forming late Monday and Tuesday. Trick-or-treaters will not need a jacket or an umbrella Sunday night.
SOME RAIN IS ON THE WAY. . .
A few heavy thunderstorms will likely form due to upper level support Tuesday. Rainfall amounts will average from a .50" to 1.00" along the Southeast Texas area. This will help relieve some of high fire danger conditions in the region. Highs return to the mid 80s Monday.
WATCHING THE TROPICS
Another hurricane has formed in the Caribbean. Tomas has lashed St. Vincent , St. Lucia and San Juan with heavy rain this weekend. In addition Tomas could become our 6th major hurricane of the season. The track suggest The Western Caribbean nations will need to keep a vigil on hurricane Tomas all next week.
