HD Doppler Radar shows a nice line of thunderstorms in west Texas this morning moving east at about 25mph. The storms are along a cold front that will push through central Texas later this afternoon. The front will then stall and will not push through southeast Texas and Houston. But some of the thunderstorms may get enough of a push to give our northern counties a chance for rain.
If the storms hold together some of them could produce isolated severe weather with hail and damaging straight line winds. We'll be on radar watch today and tonight, however, the chance for these storms to make it into our area is only 30%.
