Keep in mind that we're going to see the threat for severe storms between about 3 PM to 10 PM Friday night. The thunderstorms that will move in will be possibly producing strong winds and hail. The storms look like they'll move pretty quickly so as far as rainfall amounts accumulations will vary from a half to an inch of rain.
This is what the Storm Prediction Center realised for Friday late afternoon and evening.
So far for the month of April we've received about two and a half inches of rain. We typically see a little more than three inches for the month so it will be a good thing that we'll have another round of rain. After Friday we really dry out for the next week!
