A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for all of southeast Texas until Thursday evening. For the next 36 hours we are under the gun for heavy rain and possible flooding.

Deep tropical moisture is surging in from the Gulf of Mexico on the north side of this area of disturbed weather in the southern Gulf. The system remains disorganized this morning but could become a depression or tropical storm before making landfall in northern Mexico early Friday morning. This is exactly what 'Alex' did last week, resulting in heavy rain and some flooding here.
