The rains from last week we're greatly beneficial. They lowered the fire danger, helped firefighters control the ones burning in Grimes county and gave every ones lawn, trees and animals a much needed drink. Have you noticed the grass in the medians on the hwys greening back up, I have!
Although a weak tropical system may form in the southern Gulf of Mexico this week, it looks like the system and its rain will be shoved into Mexico away from the Houston area. We're looking at highs in the upper 90s and no rain this work week. Heat indexes will range from 103-106 each afternoon.
