We are going to get a temporary reprieve from the heavy rain today. The result will be steamy normal July readings with highs back in the low to mid 90s across the Southeast Texas region today. These hot temperatures are quenched by the tropical down pours yet again by midweek.
The rain moves in first along the coast Wednesday morning and then inland as heat and humidity combine to drench Houstonians yet again. The rain will likely linger into Thursday with a warming trend by this weekend. The weekend forecast may change however as the tropics regain momentum with a tropical weather disturbance possibly forming and moving into the gulf. Stay tuned. . .
