Coldest weather of the season heading into the United States this weekend. Houston will probably start feeling the impact by Sunday night. Another chance of measurable rain precedes the cold front on Sunday. A few thunderstorms and gusty winds are also likely as the colder Canadian air mass slides in.
Watch the latest reliable US model runs of this cold Canadian outbreak. Temperatures in the upper mid-west could fall into the -10 to -20 below zero range. Houstonians may also see a good run at the freezing mark especially in the Northern suburbs and parts of the metro area.
