A winter chill will be around for much of this week. A second colder air mass will dive into the state Tuesday pulling our numbers into a deep freeze for several hours. Areas North of interstate 10 will likely see a hard freeze with readings below freezing for 6 to 9 hours from Tuesday night to Wednesday morning. A moderating trend in the temperatures finally comes around next weekend along with a few showers.
