A cold front will approach from the northwest this afternoon and bring a 50% chance for rain and thunderstorms as it moves through. I expect the boundary to reach our northwest counties by 3:pm and move through the downtown area around 6:pm. It will be the northern counties and places like Huntsville, Conroe, Livingston and Cleveland that have the best chance for the strongest thunderstorms. Here's a look at what Super Microcast thinks the radar will look like at 3:pm today.
Expect sunny and cooler weather for the rest of the week!
