As I type this at 8:50am the leading edge of the colder air (the cold front) is just pushing through the College Station area and temps have dropped from the mid 60's to the mid 50's in a matter of minutes.  By 10:00am the front should be pushing through Huntsville and Navasota with a wind shift to the north at 10-20mph.  The front will reach the Tomball area by noon and Downtown around 2:00pm.  It should push off the coast between 4 and 5:00pm and this will bring seas to 4'-6' in the near shore waters and chop up the bay pretty good.

Temps will quickly drop into the low 60's and upper 50's as the front moves through your neighborhood and into the low 40's tonight.  Friday looks windy, cold and expect some light rain through the day as well.   Here's the marine and extended forecast.
