Most of the gulf coast will be rather cold tonight, but the frost will stay well to the North. Clouds and cold winds out of the Northeast continue to force down the mercury again tonight.
Clouds will keep highs from the upper 40s to near 50 for most of our neighborhoods. As a weak upper level trough moves in over the weekend our rain chances will rise by Saturday afternoon.
I'm expecting rainfall amounts to be under a quarter inch for most areas, with elevated rainfall totals near the coast by Sunday. So if your plans are outdoors, plan on rain protection all weekend. The good news is a moderating trend in the temperatures with highs in the 60s all weekend. Stay dry and watch for updates to your weekend weather on Channel 11.
