Holiday chill sets up tonight, especially in the burbs up North. Light frost possible around the lake areas up North. Clear skies and light winds means overnight readings will drop into the mid to upper 30s just North of Harris County. Low 40s expected for most of the metro area.
These colder readings are replaced by higher humidity, clouds and rainfall for the beginning of the work week. A cold front drifts through early Tuesday morning with lingering rainfall. Clear, cooler and more seasonal readings return for the mid-week period.
