An approaching cool front could make all the difference this weekend for anyone traveling towards the Austin area. Although riders will get a welcome tail wind they might also get a free shower at the midpoint of their journey in La Grange. Head towards the RV or a weather proof tent Saturday with the likely hood of rain at 50% with temperatures near 70 degrees in route.

Storm clouds expected ahead of slow moving cold front Saturday.

Warm humid air and East winds 5 - 12mph to start the bike race with morning temperatures in the mid 60s.

An upper level weakness in the atmosphere will add to the instability in the atmosphere  allowing a few thunderstorms to form. Weather conditions will improve Sunday as the race concludes. For Houston rain chances remain near 50% with highs in the mid 70s Sunday. Have a great weekend.
