Its time to play ball and the weather is just wonderful for a three day stand against the Giants. The only wrinkle are the low clouds and some coastal sea fog on Galveston island. The fog that was widespread Easter morning will likely meet with stronger wind and have a much harder time forming inland Monday morning. Game time temperatures for the first pitch will be around 76 degrees, but muggy conditions may keep the roof closed.

Warm breezy conditions will persist as a front builds into the state Monday evening. The dry line trough ahead of the front will likely touch off a few showers around the hill country by Tuesday. The same Pacific front will also give us a 50/50 chance of rain by Wednesday.

The week starts off warm and balmy with highs in the 80s. A shift in the jet stream will bring a much cooler Canadian air mass southward Wednesday. The gulf coast will experience normal mid 70s by the second half of the week. These temperatures along with dry weather should continue until the weekend.
