Upper 80s were common this weekend across southeast Texas. If you like it, there's plenty more this week. The warm muggy air will continue as southerly flow holds through Friday afternoon. A ridge of high pressure continues to build across the western gulf coast area. This ridge won't give way until this weekend as the jet stream shift further south driving a Canadian front into the area Saturday. Rain chances should elevate to 50/50 as the front moves through Saturday morning.
