Debby is seemingly inching toward Florida tonight. The latest track has it reaching landfall sometime late Wednesday, depending on whether this forward motion continues. Even still, northern Florida is in for flooding on the Allison scale as it may take Debby until the end of the week to fully cross that part of the state. Once landfall occurs, Debby will be downgraded to a depression meaning the winds will drop below 39 mph. Once it leaves Florida just south of Jacksonville late Friday, it will re-emerge in the Atlantic and may re-strengthen back to tropical storm strength.
