Fog has been thick on the coast this morning with visibilities dropping to near zero in Galveston and the bay.  The ship channel is not closed but pilots are not moving in or out of the ship channel until the fog lifts.  The fog advisory is in effect until 10 am this morning.

This afternoon we are expecting scattered thunderstorms to approach from the west.  Gusty straight line winds, small hail and cloud to ground lightning are the weather threats as the storms move through.  Here's a look at the radar forecast for 1 pm as the storms approach and 7 pm as the storms move through.
