Yep, the latest computer model runs are giving our northern 1/3rd a good shot at snow this Thursday evening. The best chances and heaviest snow will be in Polk, San Jacinto, northern Walker and Grimes, Madison and Houston counties (note-Houston county is NOT the city of Houston).
Heres the way Super Microcast looks this evening. The white is snow and the pink is a mix of rain/sleet/snow. Green and yellow is rain.

Snow may be heavy enough to accumulate on grassy surfaces in these northern counties. It would not surprise me to get some reports of rain mixing with snow as far south as a Brenham to Conroe to Cleveland line late this evening.
