Today will be the warmest day we have for the next 16 days. We'll have highs in the 60's by this afternoon. A cold front will pass through downtown Houston about 8:30pm and off the coast by about 11:00pm. This will open the door for a north wind to gust to 25 and much colder arctic air.
Here's the map this morning With the storm and cold front approaching from the north and west.
Expect a rainy drive home from school and work this afternoon and evening. Northern counties may see a little sleet mix in with rain early Tuesday morning and again on Thursday. At the moment we are not under any type of winter weather warning and what ice falls is expected to be very light and not stick to the ground.
Highs in the 40's and lows in the 30's the next 4 days.
