It's going to be a great weekend to catch up on your holiday shopping. A shift in the jet stream should drive wet and snowy weather onto the eastern seaboard over the weekend. The gulf coast is treated to much needed sunshine to help dry up the region. Annual rainfall will be normal thanks to a cool wet weather pattern returning just before Christmas eve. Keep your winter weather gear handy as overnight temperatures could dip into the 30s for the weekend. The Christmas outlook is dry, calling for day time temperatures in the 50s with 40s overnight.
