The clear sunny day Tuesday comes with a price tonight and that is the chance for more freezing temperatures Wednesday morning especially North of I-10. Cities like Hempstead, Conroe, Huntsville, and Livingston will be even colder tonight with lows in the upper 20s. The major forecast dilemma is will the Houston area see a chance for sleet by Thursday. Most of the reliable models keep the coldest air just far enough South that sleet is possible in the suburbs. The coast will likely just see a very cold rain. One thing is for sure and that is there is enough moisture in the upper levels of the atmosphere to create a few flakes of snow in the Texas hill country Wednesday night and Thursday.  Spring is still over six weeks away . . . stay warm.
