We started a run up to 100 again this Thursday.
All though we missed the record of 104 it was another sizzler out there. This weekend the high pressure ridge that gave us seven straight 100 degree days last week returns. One hundred degree days could be here agian along with new records for Hopefully it will not be a rerun as the ridge should slide back West by Tuesday and set up a weakness in the upper air pattern allowing rain to return for a few days next week again. A weak front will drop south around the ridge by Tuesday and give us some measurable rain in the area. One look around the city landscapes reminds us to follow the burn ban warnings. Our fire fighters need a break during these HOT days ahead. Have a safe and fun 4th of July weekend
