Just in time for the first day of Fall plenty of rain and cooler temperatures.Latest model runs indicate some isolated 48hr rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches of rain. If the front moves through as expected all the way into the gulf, rainfall may be less. With upper level flow out of the southwest behind the front more moisture could develope from midweek through Saturday. An upper level low should kick out of the plains by this weekend and produce a drier northwesterly flow for the end of the week. Since Houston still has a 10inch rainfall deficit the rain will be welcome.
