Fall festivals are back in town again and the weather finally matches the season. If your a fan of digital landscape photography you've got to check out David Mayhew at this years Bayou City Festival Art Festival downtown. Mayhew's exhibit will be somewhere near the corner of Bagby and McKinney. David is an artist with his camera capturing moments of clouds, sunlight, and the fury of Mother Nature. Everything from tornados to lightning keeps him hoping into his car to chase the next storm. Mayhews art comes to life sometimes even before the tornado has dropped from the wall cloud. When the severe weather season is over, skyscapes, wildlife, and architecture become his next subjects. This is Mayhews first year at the Bayou City Art Festival along with forty percent of the other artist at this event. David's work can be viewed at http://davidmayhewphotography.com. The gates open at 10am to 6pm both Saturday and Sunday. A festival wouldn't be a festival without plenty of great Houston food, so check out the all new Epicurean Adventure for an extra ten dollars. The festival has donated over 3.7 million dollars to Houston charities and continues to be one of Houston's oldest spring and summer events.
