PASADENA, Texas -- A father of three’s unexplained disappearance has baffled his entire family as police search for clues in the case.

Jesus “Jessie” Leal, also called “Chuy” by his family, hasn’t been seen since New Year’s Eve.

He was supposed to bring food to a dinner celebration and never arrived. Family members say they knew from the start that something was wrong.

“Our days are long, long days, sitting around and just waiting to hear something,” cried sister-in-law Mayra Salazar. “He’s a good family man.”

Leal fixes up cars and sells them for a living.

He had sold a truck on New Year’s Eve and told his family he was headed to show a woman another truck. The last call he made to his family was at 6:18 p.m., and after that, all calls began going directly to voicemail.

“Not knowing where he’s at. Seeing my sister just sit there in and out, and days where she doesn’t want to eat, it’s hard,” said Mayra Salazar.

The truck Leal is believed to have been showing the woman is now missing too.

It’s a red 2002 Ford Explorer Sports Trac with Texas plate number 65F BY4.

“I want him to know that we’re not going to stop until we find him” added Salazar.

An unidentified woman has been captured on surveillance cameras at several locations using Leal’s debit card. She’s been seen leaving in a maroon SUV.

Leal’s family says they don’t recognize the woman or the SUV.

“If she’s got his credit cards, she knows something,” said neighbor Alice Pena. “I know she’s watching this, and I do want you to come forward and tell us what you know.”

Anyone who can identify the woman or has any information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (713) 222-TIPS or Pasadena Police. The tipster could be eligible for a cash reward up to $5,000.
