HOUSTON—A woman serving as a supervisor for Harris County probationers is facing felony bribery charges.
Andrea Jenkins is accused of accepting money from a probationer for community service hours that were never performed.
The alleged bribe took place in August at Adopt-A-Cat Inc. located in the 1700 block of Bamwood. The non-profit agency provides contract services to the Harris County Community Supervision and Corrections Department.
Investigators said Jenkins, 46, accepted $80 in exchange for three days of community service credit.
The probationer involved reported Jenkins to authorities.
