Detectives: Cinco Ranch homes’ windows shot out with pellet guns

HOUSTON—Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help finding the person or persons who shot out the windows of four Cinco Ranch homes.

The incidents began at about 7:15 p.m. at homes in the 5200 block of Winding Shore Lane and the 5200 block of Clear Water Drive.

On Winding Shore Lane a rear window was shot out. At the Clear Water address a bathroom window was hit, investigators said.

Then at about 7:30 p.m., the vandals shot out the living room window of a home located in the 3200 block of Banksfield Court. A mother and two children were in the home’s living room when it happened.

At about 9:18 p.m. another resident said she heard a “pop” and noticed that the back window of her house, located in the 3000 block of Winding Shore Lane in the South Lake Village area, had been shot out by a pellet or BB gun.

She said she heard a loud truck or car heading north on South Lake Village Drive toward Cinco Ranch Boulevard.

No injuries were reported.

Anyone with information is asked to call Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office at 281-341-4665, Fort Bend Crime Stoppers, Inc. at 281-342-TIPS (8477) or text plus the tip to CRIMES (274637). 

All calls to Crime Stoppers are anonymous. Information which leads to the apprehension and filing of charges on the suspect or suspects involved could earn a reward of up to $5,000.
