HOUSTON—Investigators are seeking two suspects in the murder of a game room security guard and a third possibly connect person.
On August 5, 2012, three suspects entered an illegal game room in the 7300 block of I-10 East around 7:45 a.m.
Authorities say that they displayed handguns and proceeded to rob the business, shooting and killing the uniformed guard when the victim intervened.
The suspects then fled in a dark colored SUV.
Two men, Rafael Gomez Soliz, 26, and Santiago Jaimes Gonzalez, 28, have now been charged with the victim’s murder.
Neither is currently in police custody and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on their whereabouts.
A third man was seen exiting the suspects' vehicle and entering a nearby gas station to buy cigarettes on the night of the crime. He is believed to be connected with the murder suspects but his identity is currently unknown.
