Suspect robs sandwich store at gunpoint

SUGAR LAND, Texas—Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a sandwich shop on June 29.

Around 1:35 p.m., a man entered Lenny’s Sub Shop at 11420 Dairy Ashford and placed an order. He walked to the register where he showed the cashier a gun and demanded cash.

The employee gave him some money and the suspect fled.

He is described as a slender, African-American male, between 35 and 45-years-old and approximately 5’3" tall. He was wearing a brown or beige shirt with a collar, blue jeans and a black baseball cap with the word "HOODZ" in white letters across the front. He also walked with a limp.
