Surveillance video shows suspect robbing dollar store in NE Harris County

HOUSTON—Crime Stoppers and investigators with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office need the public’s help identifying a suspect who robbed a dollar store in northeast Harris County on April 22, 2012. 

Investigators said the suspect entered a dollar store in the 5600 block of Aldine Bender Road around 9:50 p.m., walked up to the counter and pointed a gun at the cashier.
The cashier surrendered an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect, who then fled the scene on foot.
The suspect is said to be between 18 and 25 years old, stands 5 feet 5 to 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs between 140 and 160 pounds.
He was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, blue jean shorts and distinctive large, red goggles.
Surveillance cameras captured images of the robbery.
Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Houston at (713) 222-TIPS (8477). 
Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information called in to the 713-222-TIPS (8477) or submitted online that leads to the filing of felony charges or the arrest of the suspect in this case. Tips can also be sent by text message.
