SUGAR LAND, Texas -– The Sugar Land Police Department has released two sketches of the men who held up a Subway sandwich shop on Highway 6 in early June.

Employees told police a man entered the Subway in the 3500 block of Highway 6 shortly before 11 p.m. on June 5. The man pointed a pistol at them and ordered them down on their knees with their hands behind their heads. A second man then entered and displayed a revolver.

The men demanded money from a safe, but the employees did not have the combination. The robbers forced the workers into a walk-in cooler, where they were told to stay for several minutes.

When the employees came out, the men were gone and some cash was missing from the register.

The employees were not injured, and there were no customers in the restaurant.

SLPD described the suspects as black males wearing dark, long-sleeved shirts and pants. The first man was 40 to 45 years old, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet 3 inches tall, and about 220 pounds.  He had light skin, short black hair and was wearing glasses and a dirty cap with a kangaroo emblem.  The second suspect was younger and slightly shorter than the first suspect.

Anyone with information should call the Sugar Land Police Department at (281) 275-2540 or Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at (281) 342-TIPS (8477).
