Sugar Land, Texas -- Police are looking for a man who allegedly used a credit card he found in a lost wallet to load up on electronics and games at a Target store in Sugar Land.
Sugar Land police said the man found the card, along with several others, in a wallet accidentally left at a McDonald’s on Highway 6 on November 11, 2012.
The next day the suspect took three kids with him to a Target store in the 16300 block of the Southwest Freeway and purchased Apple iPods and Xbox games. The merchandise totaled more than $820. Surveillance video captured images of the suspect and the children.
The bank contacted the card owner about fraudulent debit card charges at a Shell gas station on Williams Trace Blvd., a Walmart in the 5500 block of Highway 6 and the Target store.
The owner said he was at a McDonald's in the area from 6:45 to 7:15 p.m. the day he lost his wallet.
