HOUSTON -- The FBI’s Bank Robbery Task Force is asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect who is believed to be linked to two Houston area bank robberies.
Officials believe the same man robbed the Compass Bank, located at 11890 Westheimer Road, on May 7, as well as the Compass Bank, located 7525 FM 1960 East, on March 30.
Officials said the suspect walked into the Compass Bank on Tuesday around 12:45 p.m. He presented a note to a teller demanding money and threatened a weapon. After receiving cash, he left the bank.
Authorities describe the robber as a black male, 5’9”, 200-220 pounds, dark complexion with a moustache. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap with a polo insignia, black short-sleeved polo shirt and carried a multi-color backpack.
