HOUSTON – Authorities are looking for a suspect dubbed the “Binder Bandit” who robbed a Capital One bank location in Houston on Thursday.
Officials say the suspect was holding a binder when he walked into the Capital One at 10951 Jones Road around 1:25 p.m. and handed the teller a note.
Authorities said in the note the suspect threatened he had a gun and demanded money. The teller gave the suspect an unknown amount of crash, and he fled on foot.
No injuries occurred during the robbery.
Officials said the suspect is in his 20s, weighs about 145 pounds and is about 5 feet 5 inches tall. He was clean shaven and wore a tan baseball cap and a black leather jacket and jeans.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (713) – 222-TIPS. A reward of up to $5,000 will be given for information leading to an arrest.
