HOUSTON – Webster police say a group of thieves has been targeting immigrants in a residential neighborhood.
A total of eight cases have been documented over the course of four months in the 17700 block of El Camino Real Blvd., investigators said.
In each case, the armed men attacked and robbed the victims as they ended a work shift in the late-night hours, police said. In some cases, the victims were severely beaten.
The most recent incident took place on Sept. 14 at about 2:45 a.m.
