Crime Blog: 2 men sought in robbery of Harris County restaurant

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Authorities are asking for the public’s help locating two armed suspects wanted for robbing a Harris County restaurant.

The incident happened January 14 at the Wine Fire Restaurant in the 1420 ½ block of Spring Cypress.

Police said one man armed with a gun and another with a knife forced an employee towards the front counter around 10:05 p.m. and demanded cash from the drawer. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspects then began rummaging through an office in an attempt to find more money.

Police said the suspects also stole several bottles of liquor before fleeing in a black vehicle.

Authorities described the suspect armed with a gun as between 25 and 30 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. The other suspect was described as between 18 and 25 years old, five feet five inches tall and 130 pounds in weight.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (713) 222-8477. A reward of up to $5,000 will be given for information leading to an arrest.
