PASADENA, Texas- Crime Stoppers and investigators with the Pasadena Police Department are searching for a man who they say beat and stabbed a woman in March.
Jesus Emiliano-Borjas is charged with the Aggravated Assault of a Family Member following a late March attack on an intimate partner, according to authorities.
Officials say on March 26, a female victim entered an apartment located in the 1100 block of Burke in Pasadena around 7:30 a.m. to collect her personal property.
Pasadena police say while inside the residence, Borjas came out of a bathroom swinging a baseball bat. Borjas hit the victim with the bat, knocking her to the ground. Once the victim was incapacitated, Borjas grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the victim as many as 19 times.
Police say the victim was able to get out of the apartment and get help from a neighbor. She was taken to a local hospital, treated for her injuries and is expected to survive.
Jesus Emiliano-Borjas was charged with aggravated assault on March 27, but remains on the run.
