HOUSTON— Police say they've finally solved the ambush shooting of a Houston man two years ago.
Gabriel Love, 26, is charged with murder in the case.
Police say that the victim and his girlfriend arrived at their apartment on the 5900 block of Selinsky around 11:20 p.m. on August 17, 2010. As they exited their car, they were fired upon by several unknown suspects, according to investigators.
The victim was struck several times and pronounced dead at the scene.
His girlfriend was able to escape without any injuries.
Love also has several drug-related charges in his past beginning in 2005.
