HOUSTON—Police arrested and charged a man in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man at a southeast Houston apartment complex.
Howard Rankins, 59, of Houston was stabbed to death on Saturday at about 3:15 a.m. in the 8900 block of Broadway.
Investigators said Demarcus Jarrell Moses stabbed Rankins as he tried to enter the apartment where Rankins had recently been staying with an acquaintance.
Rankins suffered multiple stab wounds and died at the scene. Moses was charged with murder in the 351st State District Court.
