Investigators release photo of person of interest in cell phone store robbery

Detectives are seeking the community’s assistance with the identification of a subject caught on video during a robbery on Wednesday at a local cell phone store.

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas - Detectives are seeking the community’s assistance with the identification of a subject caught on video during a robbery on Wednesday at a local cell phone store.

Deputies with the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office said when they arrived at RB Cellular, located in the 10500 block of State Highway 6, they found a customer at the store with his hands bound and an employee was found to have sustained minor injuries.

Deputies learned between 5 to 5:20 p.m., two suspects entered the store, pulled a weapon and demanded everyone down on the floor. During the robbery an undisclosed amount of money and cell phones were taken.

The suspects are described as follows:

- Suspect No. 1 is described as a light-complected black male who is about 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing about 150-160 pounds and has light colored hair worn in a small pony tail. The suspect has a tear drop tattoo under one eye. He wore a light green or yellow construction vest over a plaid shirt and dark color jeans.

- Suspect No. 2 is described as a dark-complected black male who is about 6 feet 2 inches tall weighing about 160 to 170 pounds. He two wore dark color clothing consisting of a pullover mask with eyes cut out in it and a dark color hoodie. He also carried a black back pack from which he pulled a black semi-automatic pistol.

A person of interest was caught on video behind the business during the time of the robbery, deputies said. This person is described as a black male wearing a dark color T-shirt, denim shorts and sneakers.

Anyone with information or who can provide information on the identity of the subject caught on video is asked to call Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS (8477).
