HOUSTON —Investigators with the Houston Police Department are searching for the driver who failed to stop and render aid to two victims, who were hospitalized as a result of injuries sustained during a recent accident.
Police said that at about 12:20 a.m. on May 19, a 27-year-old female and her 7-year-old daughter were riding a go-kart in the 3000 block of Parker Road. As they rode through the street, a maroon Lincoln SUV, driving at an accelerated rate of speed, struck the victims, and fled the scene.
The woman sustained a broken arm and separated shoulder, while her daughter suffered bruising and an injury to the head, police said. Both were transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital where they received treatment for their injuries.
The suspect vehicle is described as a maroon, 2010-2012 Lincoln Navigator or Lincoln Aviator.
