HOUSTON—Police are looking for a suspect who pretended to be a police officer and pulled over a woman on the Eastex Freeway on January 18.
Police said the woman was driving home from work on the Eastex Freeway around 2:30 p.m. when she noticed a black Chevrolet Tahoe behind her with what appeared to be police lights.
The suspect turned on the lights and the woman, thinking he was a police officer, pulled over to the side of the road near Highway 59.
The victim said as the suspect approached, she lowered her window and he began to curse at her. According to police, the victim then got out of her car and the suspect walked her to the front.
The suspect, who was wearing a holstered pistol, searched her car and left several items on the ground. He then told her he was going to give her a warning and got in his Tahoe and left.
Police said the man has bleach-blond hair and a muscular build. He was also wearing aviator-style sunglasses at the time.
