HOUSTON – Harris County investigators are looking for other potential victims of two suspected sexual predators.

The first suspect, 18-year-old Alonzo Havies, is accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl near Cypress Springs High School in 2008.

Investigators said Havies and a second suspect attacked the girl as she walked home.

Havies was recently identified as one of the attackers through a DNA match. Investigators said he’s currently serving time in prison for burglary, but they believe he could have been involved in other sexual assaults. Other potential victims are asked to call the HCSO Sex Crimes Unit at 713-967-5743.

The second suspect, 43-year-old Douglas Katzenberger, is accused of sexually abusing several boys and young men.

According to investigators, five boys have already come forward claiming to be victims of Katzenberger’s.

He was arrested last week and charged with indecency with a child, sexual assault of a child and continuous sexual abuse of a child, but he’s since posted bond.

Anyone who believes they may have been a victim of Katzenberger’s or knows a potential victim should call the Harris County Crimes Against Children Unit at 713-830-3250.
