Burglars target dozens of storage units in Fort Bend County

HOUSTON --- Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the people involved in two recent burglaries of storage units.

The first crime happened last Thursday at KVB Storage located in the 5700 block of Highway 36 in Pleak.  Sixteen different units were broken into at the site. The locks were cut on each unit.

The second incident happened Friday at AAA Storage located in the 7900 block of Loop 540 in Beasley.  The thieves gained entry to the facility by cutting a hole in the chain-link fence and then broke into five storage units.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office at 281-341-4665, Fort Bend Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS (8477) or text plus the tip to CRIMES (274637). Tips also can be submitted online at www.fortbend-tx-crimestoppers.org.
