HOUSTON – The FBI is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect in a grocery store bank robbery.
The robbery happened Monday at the Wells Fargo Bank located inside an HEB store at 11815 Westheimer Road.
The robber entered the bank at about 1:45 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding money, investigators said. In the note, the bank robber threatened to have a weapon, but none was seen by witnesses. After receiving some cash, he left the grocery store and was photographed getting into the passenger side of a blue-gray colored Ford Taurus.
No one was physically hurt during the robbery.
Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and arrest of this robber.
