FRIENDSWOOD, Texas – Officers arrested and charged a Pearland man with driving while intoxicated on Saturday. He had three children in the car.
The incident happened on Saturday at 12:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of S. Friendswood.
Police said Hector Galvan Jr., 32, made a wide right turn from an outside lane and he was pulled over. Galvan was asked to exit the vehicle. As he did, the officer detected the smell of alcohol.
Galvan’s driver’s license was suspended and he exhibited signs of intoxication, according to the officer.
Galvan failed a field sobriety test and registered .216 on a breath test. Galvan’s bond was set at $10,000.
